Design and oversee telecommunications infrastructure for data centers and technology laboratories in Israel, including fiber, copper cabling, connectivity, and networked facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product engineers to define connectivity requirements for data centers
- Design and supervise deployment of fiber and copper cabling systems for multi-network clusters
- Influence data center layouts and planning for flexible laboratory buildings
- Support networks used to control, monitor, and alert enterprise data center mechanical, electrical, liquid cooling, and security systems
- Implement new fiber solutions and improve existing infrastructure efficiency
- Define and document repeatable standards for data center and laboratory spaces at multiple scales
- Conduct assessments and audits to identify improvements and optimize performance
Requirements
- RCDD, DCDC, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of data center design and engineering experience
- Experience interpreting architectural drawings and preparing scopes of work for low-voltage contractors
- Deep knowledge of fiber systems, connectors, and transceivers
- Familiarity with the OSI model, switching and routing protocols, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, and common TCP/IP protocols
- Ability to communicate and present technical information clearly

- Experience with next-generation data center architectures and technologies
- Hands-on data center operations experience
- Participation in relevant industry communities or networks
