Lead and support the development, procurement, integration, and verification of electronic intelligence and radar payloads for unmanned aerial systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support development and procurement activities with payload and electronic-systems subcontractors
- Prepare specifications, conduct design reviews, approve engineering documentation, and support acceptance testing
- Plan and execute development and qualification trials, including AI-enabled information fusion
- Define requirements, interfaces, environmental conditions, and integration designs for end-to-end UAV systems
- Lead integration testing and flight or system trials for SIGINT, electronic warfare, and radar payloads
- Provide technical customer support, including technical descriptions, engineering responses, reports, documentation, and training materials
- Support fault investigations and corrective-action activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering, physics, or computer engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in developing or integrating military intelligence payload systems
- Experience writing engineering specifications and supporting product development and integration processes
- Experience working with subcontractors or customers
- Expertise and practical experience with RF systems
Nice to have
- Experience leading avionics or airborne payload development and integration
- Knowledge of airborne intelligence payloads and pods
- Experience with UAV systems
