A nine-month hybrid contract assignment for a Senior Accountant supporting Israeli entities within an international technology company. The contractor will manage month-end close, reconciliations, statutory reporting, audits, tax activities, and accounting projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end accounting close for Israeli entities.
- Prepare balance sheet and profit-and-loss analysis and reconciliations.
- Manage the fixed-assets subledger.
- Prepare and review monthly accounts-payable accruals.
- Generate and review general-ledger journal entries.
- Maintain local accounting policies and desktop procedures.
- Perform internal controls over accounting and accounts-payable processes.
- Prepare statutory monthly reports, including tax advances and VAT reporting.
- Coordinate statutory audits and tax returns.
- Support mergers and acquisitions and other ad hoc accounting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a qualified accountant or CPA designation.
- At least two years of relevant post-internship experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Valid authorization to work in Israel; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global company.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Experience with BlackLine or Ariba.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.
