A company-building platform is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to support finance operations across portfolio companies and partner with founders from company formation through growth.
Responsibilities
- Establish and support financial infrastructure for portfolio companies.
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor budget-to-actual performance.
- Produce financial reports and variance analyses for founders and management.
- Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements.
- Oversee cash flow, payments, and related processes.
- Ensure compliance and timely tax reporting in Israel and the United States.
- Support budget planning, debt strategy, and financing readiness.
- Advise CEOs and management teams on financial matters and strategic decisions.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships.
- Improve and automate finance processes and systems.
Requirements
- C.P.A. qualification.
- At least two years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
- Experience auditing global high-tech companies, working in high-growth startups, or working in venture capital.
- High proficiency in English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience managing multiple legal entities under different legal structures.
- Strong analytical, project leadership, communication, and financial presentation skills.
- Demonstrated professional and academic success.
