A global technology company is seeking a hands-on Controller to own end-to-end financial reporting, Israeli tax compliance, audit coordination, internal controls, and accounts payable operations. The role reports to the Director of Finance and follows a hybrid work model in Or Yehuda.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP financial reporting and the close process
- Report financial results to the Director of Finance
- Prepare statutory tax filings and maintain compliance with Israeli tax authorities and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory filing deadlines
- Work with operations and logistics teams to align financial and operational processes
- Manage and mentor the accounts payable team, including approvals and vendor payment cycles
- Strengthen internal controls, close procedures, accounting processes, and AI-enabled practices as the company scales
Requirements
- Experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a technology company
- CPA qualification
- Strong knowledge of Israeli tax and regulatory reporting requirements
- Fluent Hebrew and English
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience managing or mentoring accounts payable staff
Nice to have
- Big Four audit or assurance experience
- Experience with SaaS or technology revenue models
- Experience using NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems
