Assistant Controller
Provide financial and operational support to the Finance Department, overseeing accounting activities and supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and subsidiary financial operations.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports for senior management and investors.
- Manage cash flow, payment methods, supplier payments, customer collections, and withholding tax administration.
- Lead annual budgeting and ongoing budget-to-actual variance analysis.
- Oversee statutory VAT and income tax reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate annual financial audits and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Support procurement finance processes and payroll-related reporting and statutory deductions.
- Prepare and monitor applications for government grants and incentives.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, legal counsel, and government authorities.
- Manage corporate agreements and documentation, and support the Controller and Finance Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA qualification.
- Completed an internship with distinction at a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Fluent Hebrew and English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
- A bachelor's degree in Law or Economics.
- An MBA.
- Experience with Priority ERP.
- Spanish language skills.
