Join an Israel-based cybersecurity R&D team developing low-level Windows components for an endpoint security product. The role focuses on system programming, security engineering, and protection against advanced cyberattacks.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop Windows drivers, services, and other system-level components
- Design, implement, and debug high-performance C++ code
- Analyze operating system internals to build robust security features
- Apply security research and reverse-engineering findings to practical solutions
- Collaborate with engineers, security researchers, and product managers
- Lead technical projects and initiatives addressing sophisticated cyberattacks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
- At least 5 years of system programming experience on a major operating system such as Windows, Linux, Android, or macOS
- At least 8 years of software development experience
- Deep understanding of operating system internals and concepts
- Professional experience with modern C++
- Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex, high-performance, multithreaded code
Nice to have
- Contributions to open-source projects or a complex hobby project
- Experience with user-mode internals, the Windows security model, PE format, hooking, injection, x86/x64 assembly, ASLR, DEP, IDA Pro, or Python
- Equivalent military experience in place of a bachelor's degree
