A semiconductor products team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Israel to design, develop, test, and maintain software for advanced semiconductor systems. The role works across the full software lifecycle with software, systems, hardware, applications, and field engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for complex semiconductor systems
Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, code reviews, testing, and releases
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and applications engineers to define and implement product requirements
Investigate customer and field issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test plans
Contribute to software architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
Support product releases and sustaining engineering activities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 5 years of software development experience
Strong programming skills in C# and/or C++
Experience with object-oriented design and software engineering best practices
Experience developing multithreaded and distributed software systems
Knowledge of software design patterns and debugging techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to lead projects involving multiple software engineers, including technical planning, task coordination, execution tracking, and delivery
