Senior Silicon Security Architect
Lead security architecture and implementation for next-generation networking products, partnering with hardware, software, research, product, and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and implement hardware and software security architectures
- Apply hardware security primitives to enable secure software extensions
- Guide silicon security and trusted execution environment direction
- Define microarchitectures, perform architectural modeling and validation, and follow relevant standards
- Develop infrastructure for trusted platforms using hardware security methods
- Collaborate with partners on open-source software implementation
- Identify and address security issues and threats with customers and partners
Requirements
- BSc, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with software and firmware architecture for SoCs
- Experience designing hardware security for embedded devices
- Experience with security-by-design hardware principles and privilege models
- Ability to collaborate across hardware, software, research, product, partner, and customer teams
Nice to have
- Experience with boot and update architectures for SoC systems
- RISC-V, root of trust, and security processors experience
- Distributed key management APIs and cryptographic accelerators
- Embedded systems and low-level firmware experience
- Verilog, Python, Perl, ARM assembly, or C/C++ programming experience
