Technical Lead, Network Systems Validation

Lead hands-on validation of advanced networking solutions in large-scale AI cluster environments. Own validation strategy, guide automation, investigate complex issues, and mentor engineers across hardware and software teams.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and define validation methodologies
- Create functional and performance test plans for networking technologies in large AI clusters
- Develop benchmarks, automation tools, and scripts for test execution, environment setup, log collection, and data analysis
- Lead investigations using logs, telemetry, packet captures, and system metrics
- Triage issues across hardware and software layers and drive them to root cause and resolution
- Inspect C/C++ and Python source code to investigate defects and validate fixes
- Debug NCCL, RoCE, RDMA, and related networking software with hardware and software teams
- Profile AI training and inference workloads and analyze scalability limitations
- Document findings and improve validation methods, automation environments, and engineering processes
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of experience in networking, system validation, or related fields
- Experience debugging complex production systems through hypothesis-driven experiments and root-cause analysis
- Ability to read and debug C/C++ code
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, and/or Ansible
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, consistency, fault tolerance, and large-scale performance
- Ability to align technical stakeholders, communicate trade-offs, and make architectural decisions
- Experience or interest in AI-driven test automation, intelligent scenario generation, LLM-assisted root-cause analysis, and autonomous validation pipelines
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale clusters or distributed systems
- Familiarity with ConnectX, BlueField, or related networking solutions
- Experience with performance analysis, Kubernetes, or cloud environments
- Background in chaos testing, fault injection, or simulation systems
- Rust or Go experience
