Seeking a test development engineer to design and automate production tests for networking switches. Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, and software teams to achieve high test coverage and product quality. Work with overseas manufacturing to improve yields and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests for networking switches in collaboration with hardware, ASIC, and software engineering teams.
- Participate in the definition and development of tests from development level to final test of network systems.
- Work with overseas manufacturing teams to increase yields, test coverage, and capacity while reducing production costs.
- Expose to various aspects of design, DFT, and test of next-generation network products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in software development.
- Programming experience in one or more of Perl, Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Background with lab environment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
Nice to have
- Excellent programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills.
- Highly motivated and stays up-to-date with new technologies and test methodologies.
