Design and develop automated tests for networking hardware and software products, build test infrastructure in Python, validate releases, and support production operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests for networking switches and adapters
- Define and implement tests from development through final network-system validation
- Develop and maintain test infrastructure and workflow automation tools
- Execute regression, performance, functional, and security testing
- Investigate, debug, and resolve production-process issues
- Verify and validate both hardware and software
- Optimize testing procedures and improve test coverage
- Maintain existing code and support production deployments, patches, and maintenance
- Report testing progress and prepare activity summaries
- Drive projects through execution across schedules and multiple workstreams
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or equivalent engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of software development and design experience
- At least 3 years of Python development experience
- Strong knowledge of version control, preferably Git
- Experience developing in Linux environments
- Experience integrating software and hardware products and using hardware lab measurement equipment
- Experience implementing large-scale automation solutions for software teams
- Strong debugging, programming, and test design skills
- Experience collaborating with global engineering teams

- Configuration management and automation knowledge
- Experience developing tools and services
- Hardware, mechanics, or automated JIG experience
- Performance analysis and advanced test design skills
