Lead the technical direction of scalable automation infrastructure, combining hands-on test engineering, architecture, technical leadership, and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical strategy and architecture for automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Develop automated tests using Python and pytest.
- Integrate and maintain automation in CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
- Establish automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
- Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability.
- Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues.
- Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, including AI-based testing and automation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in QA, test automation, or software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest.
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins.
- Experience with AI-assisted development or testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience with Linux, Docker or Kubernetes, REST APIs, networking, or distributed systems.
- Experience with performance, scalability, or reliability testing.
- Previous experience as an Automation Lead or Technical Lead.
