Join a multidisciplinary engineering team in Rehovot designing complex opto-mechanical systems for defense and aerospace applications.
Responsibilities
- Design opto-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, electronic-board fixtures, and alignment and measurement setups.
- Own designs from concept through documentation, integration, and production-line assembly support.
- Work independently and collaboratively while meeting project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with electronics, optics, systems engineering, and other disciplines.
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, and aluminum printing.
- Extensive knowledge of geometric tolerancing and technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
Nice to have
- Experience with Office tools.
- Familiarity with PDM software.
- Experience designing military or aerospace systems.
- Experience with laser and fiber design.
