Develop innovative medical devices for minimally invasive surgical and radiation oncology procedures as part of a multidisciplinary research and development team in Netanya, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to medical device development across the product lifecycle
- Design, execute, and document verification and validation activities
- Develop engineering solutions and evaluate design alternatives
- Support technical risk management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and external development partners
- Prepare technical documentation for FDA Design Controls and regulatory submissions
- Support continuous product improvement, innovation, and intellectual property activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related engineering discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in medical device R&D
- Experience with medical device product development, preferably in a stage-gate process
- Working knowledge of FDA Design Controls
- Experience with design verification and validation, technical documentation, and product development deliverables
- Experience with statistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills
Nice to have
- Experience with ISO 14971, ISO 10993, IEC 60601, or other medical device standards
- Statistical analysis software experience, such as Minitab
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Experience with implantable or bioabsorbable medical devices
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes
