An advanced networking hardware company is seeking an experienced Senior NPI Engineer to lead electromechanical product introduction, production process development, and manufacturing quality initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform design-for-assembly analysis for products and related jigs.
- Conduct PFMEA and manage product quality during production.
- Develop and validate robust production processes before high-volume manufacturing.
- Resolve unfamiliar engineering issues in real time on the production line.
- Coordinate cross-functional integration and matrix-managed engineering activities.
- Establish new production lines at contract manufacturer sites.
- Lead contract manufacturer engineering teams toward operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading electromechanical engineering projects.
- Experience managing contract manufacturers or vendors.
- Experience in project management, production management, or manufacturing quality leadership.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a precise, proactive, pragmatic, and creative approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
