Lead manufacturing engineering activities for aerospace products, from development transfer and new product introduction through serial production at a Karmiel site.
Responsibilities
- Own production-line processes from development transfer through serial production
- Support design for manufacturability, automation, and maintainability for complex products
- Lead NPI activities and integrate products into technology production lines
- Define manufacturing processes and design production fixtures
- Lead cost-reduction projects
- Prepare production files and work instructions
- Perform controlled assemblies to validate and improve product designs
- Provide real-time engineering support for production issues
- Lead failure investigations and identify manufacturing failure points
- Use production data to control and improve manufacturing processes
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of industry experience
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and assembly processes
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- High-level technical English
- Ability to drive processes and work effectively in a multitasking environment under pressure
- Strong technical support, service orientation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Experience with NPI and development-to-production transfer
