Signal and Power Integrity Engineer – PhD Graduate

Join a hardware engineering team developing custom silicon and high-speed interfaces for large-scale computing and consumer products. The role is based in Haifa or Tel Aviv, Israel, with in-person interviews generally required.
Responsibilities
- Simulate high-speed interface electrical behavior using HSPICE or other circuit simulators.
- Generate electrical models, including S-parameter and SPICE models, for packages, PCBs, and connectors.
- Collaborate with ASIC architects, digital and analog designers, physical design and layout engineers, and system engineers on specifications and integration challenges.
- Perform laboratory measurements with oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, and spectrum analyzers to validate simulations and debug signal and power issues on prototypes and boards.
- Establish signal- and power-integrity design rules and guidelines for PCB and package layouts, production yield, and reliability.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Relevant practical, internship, or personal project experience in hardware or electrical engineering.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of PCIe and Ethernet physical-layer requirements.
- Advanced Python proficiency, including NumPy and Pandas, for data analysis and instrument control.
- Experience correlating laboratory measurements with pre-silicon signal-integrity simulations using HSPICE, ADS, or Sigrity.
