Responsibilities
- Design superconducting qubits, resonators, and couplers
- Perform electromagnetic and circuit-level simulations
- Optimize designs for coherence, tunability, and fabrication yield
- Analyze loss mechanisms and noise sources
- Collaborate with fabrication and measurement teams
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with superconducting circuits and microwave design
- Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, Sonnet, or COMSOL
Nice to have
- Experience in defense, aerospace, intelligence, secure systems, RF, real-time systems, or classified R&D environments
- Experience operating complex systems under strict performance, reliability, and security constraints
