We are looking for a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will design high-speed, high-density PCBs, manage layout and constraints, and ensure signal integrity. Work with Cadence Allegro and collaborate with board design engineers. Requires a BSc in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform PCB layout of high-speed/high-density value-conscious PCBs using Cadence Allegro and Capture.
- Complete PCB layout development, including floor planning, component placement, and constraint management with signal/trace integrity considerations.
- Generate artwork files, ODB++, test reports, and electronic PCB documentation for design releases.
- Ensure designs follow SI constraints.
- Respond to PCB manufacturer EQ/TQ and review Gerber/ODB++ files.
- Create PCB footprints.
Requirements
- Practical Electrical Engineer or BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in high-speed PCB design.
- Knowledge of PCB design considerations including layout, routing, timing constraints, DFM, DFA.
- Deep understanding of High-Density Interconnect PCB layout and PCB Signal Integrity.
- Ability to work in a team with personal responsibility and agility in changing focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in 8GHz+ range PCB design using back-drilling stacked/staggered uVIA technology.
- Building complex multi-layer HDI PCBs for dense placement and routing.
- Familiarity with DFT constraints in volume manufacturing.
