A defense and aerospace manufacturer seeks a senior physicist specializing in optoelectronics and optical sensors. The role focuses on production-process development, complex physics experiments, physical modeling, and simulation-based optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve production processes for optical sensors.
- Plan and lead complex experiments across multiple physics disciplines.
- Perform theoretical analyses and support the development of physical models.
- Collaborate with engineering, algorithm, and manufacturing teams.
- Use advanced simulation tools for optimization and process control.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in physics with a specialization in electro-optics, plasma physics, or quantum optics.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience.
- Strong theoretical background with the ability to apply physics in practice.
- Experience leading experiments and improving production processes.
- Required knowledge of MATLAB simulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, algorithm, and manufacturing teams.
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills.
