Lead mechanical design and integration of flight test instrumentation on aircraft. Work with sensors and complex installations, providing creative solutions. Join a multidisciplinary team at a defense & space company. Requires mechanical engineering degree and NX/CATIA experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for installation of flight test equipment on test aircraft.
- Work with individual sensors up to large, complex instrumentation packages and special installations.
- Respond quickly to changes and provide creative solutions during flight test campaigns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and test pilots.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Nice to have
- Experience in mechanical design of structures or installations
- Proficiency in NX and/or CATIA
- Previous service in the Air Force
