Senior High-Performance System Architect
Design end-to-end architectures for next-generation AI and high-performance computing systems, spanning networks, hardware, software, firmware, simulations, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Define NVL system architecture from internal and customer requirements through the full product lifecycle
- Research solutions for large-scale high-performance computing clusters
- Develop simulation and performance-testing models and analyze results
- Guide future hardware and software development based on performance analysis
- Collaborate with architecture, logic design, system software, firmware, and research teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
- At least 5 years of industry or research experience in computer networks
- Strong understanding of large-scale network behavior and distributed computing workloads
- Experience developing simulation environments
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of InfiniBand, IP, TCP, RoCE, and network topologies
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Knowledge of AI models
- Familiarity with HPC environments, routing algorithms, OMNeT++, and NS-3
