Seeking a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer to perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and analyzers. Requires B.Sc. in EE or equivalent, 5+ years lab experience, and ability to read schematics and PCB layouts. Experience with high-speed interfaces and test automation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging in the lab
- Operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, analyzers, and multimeters
- Support hardware investigations through schematic and layout analysis
- Document test results and report findings to engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, thermal, system)
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on hardware lab experience
- Proficiency with lab equipment and board-level debugging
- Ability to interpret schematics and PCB layouts
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Good technical English for reading datasheets and writing reports
Nice to have
- Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes)
- Familiarity with thermal/mechanical test setups
- Experience with test automation
- Background in bug tracking or PLM tools
