Join a networking hardware team developing simulators and architectures for next-generation network ASICs used in AI and high-performance computing. This cross-disciplinary role works with hardware and software teams across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define network adapter chip architecture from market requirements through design, deployment, and post-silicon product stages.
- Develop cycle-accurate simulation components for evaluating microarchitecture and architectural options.
- Analyze and optimize chip system performance.
- Collaborate with physical design, logic design, system software, firmware, and applications teams.
- Work with industry standards and customers on technology deployment.
- Serve as an organizational focal point and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least four years of relevant experience in chip architecture or system integration.
- Experience developing simulation models.
- Knowledge of computing and networking systems.
- Strong debugging skills.
- High attention to design quality and detail.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Five or more years of relevant practical experience.
- Experience with network simulation tools such as OMNeT++, ns-3, SST, or gem5.
- Experience with CPU, GPU, memory, storage, or networking system architecture.
