Lead the end-to-end hardware development of electronic systems for autonomous driving applications, from product requirements and schematics through testing, qualification, and mass production.
Responsibilities
- Specify hardware for autonomous driving systems
- Lead product specification, electrical schematics, component selection, layout, laboratory testing, verification, production support, and qualification
- Define and perform signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulations
- Manage the technical interface with customers to derive hardware requirements
- Collaborate with system architecture, mechanical and thermal engineering, software, safety, and reliability teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing and manufacturing electronic products
- Experience with the full design cycle of multidisciplinary products through mass production
- Experience with complex embedded designs and interfaces including Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, CAN bus, MIPI, switches, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of system-level hardware considerations
- Customer-facing experience
- Experience with certification and standards-based design
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Project management, organization, independence, and strong collaboration skills

- EMC and power design experience
