Support major OEM and customer design teams using manageability and security microcontrollers across computing, server, and datacenter applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead customers through system design from planning through production
- Resolve customer hardware issues and requests from regional support teams and customers
- Collaborate with R&D, architects, and product managers on resolutions, workarounds, features, and support tools
- Develop debugging strategies and work hands-on with design teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Understand customer applications and recommend solutions, designs, and products
- Create and maintain reference schematics, application notes, and design guidelines
- Provide customer-driven input to next-generation integrated circuit definitions
- Contribute to innovative and differentiated product definition
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering
- At least 5 years of board and system design experience
- Hardware engineering, semiconductor applications, or board design experience
- Strong laboratory testing and measurement skills
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and product characterization equipment
- Experience with complex SoCs and high-speed interfaces including DDR, PCIe, USB, and Ethernet
- Hands-on embedded systems debugging experience
- High-level English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work directly with customers
Nice to have
- Experience with Tier-1 OEM PC makers, server and datacenter systems, or APAC ODMs
- Familiarity with Verilog, FPGA, and CPLD implementation
- Programming skills in C or Python
