Join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing FPGA-based electronic warfare systems for critical defense missions. The role covers FPGA architecture, implementation, verification, integration, and optimization using VHDL and related development tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement FPGA logic for complex high-performance systems
- Create simulations and testbenches and perform timing analysis
- Perform synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and design optimization
- Integrate FPGA solutions into hardware systems and support debugging
- Design high-speed interfaces and protocols including PCIe, Ethernet, AXI, SPI, I2C, UART, DDR, LVDS, and SerDes
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, verification, and systems engineering teams
- Create and maintain architecture, interface, and test documentation
- Adopt improved FPGA technologies, methodologies, and development practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of FPGA design and development experience
- Strong proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, ISE, Intel Quartus Prime, or Platform Designer
- Hands-on experience with modern Xilinx or Intel FPGA families
- Experience with simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim or Questa
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, Tcl, or Bash scripting
