A health technology company is seeking a Senior FPGA Design Engineer in Haifa to develop, optimize, integrate, and validate FPGA solutions for CT and imaging systems. The role is office-based with at least three days per week onsite and includes a monthly salary range of ILS 21,515–35,858 plus bonus
Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA logic using VHDL and Verilog
- Design and implement high-speed data paths and interfaces
- Perform simulation, verification, timing closure, and debugging
- Integrate FPGAs with processors, sensors, ADCs, DACs, and other system components
- Support board bring-up, lab validation, and system-level debugging
- Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
- Perform testing after component or design changes
- Document FPGA designs, interfaces, and implementation details
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and systems teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 4 years of hands-on FPGA design experience
- Strong digital logic design and debugging skills
- Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog
- Experience with Xilinx tools, especially Vivado
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, and AXI
- Experience with lab debugging, system validation, and schematic interpretation
- Ability to document designs and support structured release processes
Nice to have
- Experience with UVM or other verification methodologies
- Background in imaging systems or signal processing
- Experience in medical devices or regulated industries
