Join a connectivity platform team developing SDK software for DOCSIS system-on-chip products and high-speed home internet gateways.
Responsibilities
- Work with architecture and silicon teams to define specifications and requirements
- Design, develop, and test C software in real-time operating systems
- Develop user-space software and kernel modules for ARM, Atom, and other processors
- Solve system-level problems spanning hardware interfaces, operating systems, and applications
- Develop high-speed, stable software using AI-assisted engineering tools
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing real-time embedded systems
- Professional experience developing software in C
- Experience with networking software, socket programming, UDP/TCP, and IPv4/IPv6
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus at least 3 years of experience, or a master’s degree
- Ability to guide and mentor engineers
- Ability to plan and lead projects
Nice to have
- Linux kernel programming and IP stack experience
- Yocto development experience
- Experience with RDK-B products
