Develop production-grade C++ software for embedded automotive systems supporting HD maps and autonomous driving. Build map infrastructure, APIs, communication protocols, and map-based algorithms while optimizing performance, memory usage, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance C++ software for embedded automotive systems
- Develop infrastructure for HD map download, caching, storage, and distribution
- Build efficient APIs and communication protocols for map consumers
- Develop routing and lane network generation algorithms
- Optimize software for performance, memory usage, and reliability
- Collaborate with algorithm, cloud, and infrastructure engineering teams
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on production software development in C++
- Strong understanding of software design and object-oriented programming
- Experience developing embedded or performance-critical software
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently lead complex technical tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Experience with autonomous driving systems
- Experience with map technologies, GIS, navigation, or routing algorithms
- Experience with cloud-connected embedded systems
- Experience with distributed systems or communication protocols
- Experience optimizing CPU, memory, and latency
