Join a space imaging team developing next-generation electro-optical satellite cameras across multiple wavelengths. The role combines camera requirements, performance analysis, image-processing algorithms, testing, and calibration activities on the ground and in space.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and support the development of electro-optical cameras for multiple wavelengths.
- Conduct electro-optical performance analyses, including MTF and SNR evaluations.
- Plan, support, and perform camera calibration during pre-launch ground testing and in-space testing.
- Develop and support image-processing algorithms from raw detector imagery through advanced products, including color products and spectral information extraction.
- Support image-processing activities across camera definition, algorithm development, implementation, testing, and calibration.
- Contribute to radiometric and spectral corrections, image fusion, super-resolution, and AI-based image-product generation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in electro-optical engineering, physics, or electrical and electronics engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience developing electro-optical cameras, image-processing algorithms, and remote-sensing systems.
- Experience with camera calibration processes, including PSF, NUC, and ground measurements.
- Experience with radiometry, thermal imaging, detectors, or related technologies.
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documents, test procedures, and project documentation.
- Strong teamwork, communication, learning, and collaboration skills with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Nice to have
- Experience with multispectral image processing.
- Experience with Modtran, Zemax, Ocktal, or LabVIEW.
