Senior Chip Architect
Define the architecture of next-generation NIC and DPU products. Work cross-functionally with software, ASIC design, verification, and platform teams to drive performance and debug complex issues. This role offers the opportunity to shape cutting-edge systems and collaborate with GPU and CPU teams.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the NIC micro-architecture thoroughly and serve as a resource for design and verification engineers.
- Define next-generation systems in collaboration with GPU and CPU teams.
- Define implementation of sophisticated features, balancing architecture with backend and design considerations.
- Understand system requirements and help define the product line plan of record.
- Address full-chip correctness and performance issues requiring cross-unit understanding.
- Work with board and package design to understand limitations such as power, signal integrity, etc.
- Understand SoC flows, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, and NvLink protocols.
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc in Electrical Engineering with excellent grades.
- 5+ years of experience in ASIC design/architecture/performance.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Verilog/VHDL.
- Strong analytical and debug skills.
- Ability to drive complex activities involving many interfaces and teams.
- Good communication skills.
