Develop AI-powered methodologies, automation, and engineering standards that improve ASIC design productivity, quality, and turnaround across the design flow.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered methodologies and applications spanning specification, RTL, verification, and physical design
- Collaborate with architecture, RTL, design verification, formal verification, and physical design teams
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools and EDA vendor technologies into chip design workflows
- Define and enforce lint rules, synthesis guidelines, coding standards, and other quality practices
- Build automation infrastructure and scripted flows for chip design development
- Train and guide designers on design best practices and AI-assisted workflows
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of hands-on pre-silicon design experience
- Working understanding of AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, and prompt-driven engineering
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and innovation skills
Nice to have
- Broad system-level understanding of chip design development flows
- Experience using AI tools to solve engineering problems
- Hardware development CI/CD experience with Git, GitLab, or equivalent
