Process Engineer
Responsible for defining and improving manufacturing and assembly processes, providing engineering support, and leading technical documentation and risk assessments for defense/space production.
Responsibilities
- Define and characterize manufacturing and assembly processes on the production line, provide production support and engineering assistance.
- Define and oversee manufacturing processes with emphasis on machines.
- Create routing cards, production files, and technical reports.
- Optimize production methods, consolidate and take ownership of technologies in projects.
- Write specifications for new production methods, optimize and reduce costs of existing processes.
- Write work instructions and SOW for process facilities.
- Conduct technical investigations and failure analysis in production.
- Coordinate with development teams, including transfer from development to production.
- Prepare risk assessments for work processes and participate in surveys.
Requirements
- B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge in reading technical drawings.
- At least three years of experience as a process engineer in an industrial plant.
- Proven experience in defining production and control processes.
- Proven experience with products, technologies, and production work processes such as milling, cutting, and assembly.
- Knowledge of PLM and Excel.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with various stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in process industry or engineering companies.
- Experience in PLM/PDM configuration control environment.
