Responsible for end-to-end PCB layout, component library management, and collaboration with engineers and manufacturers. Requires 5+ years experience, proficiency in Expedition, and knowledge of IPC standards.
Responsibilities
- Edit printed circuit boards
- Own the editing process from start to finish, including process improvement
- Manage subcontractor editing work
- Collaborate with development engineers, production technologists, and circuit manufacturers
- Manage the electronic component library
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in circuit editing, from component creation to production file preparation
- Knowledge of component definition and working with databases
- Ability to check and correct editing files from other editors
- Experience working with circuit manufacturers and ability to provide technical answers to production issues
- Ability to work independently and high work ethic
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and very high service awareness
Nice to have
- Degree in electronics engineering or technician qualification
- Experience with Expedition software
- Deep understanding of IPC-6012/6013 standards
