An aerospace engineering organization is seeking a CAD Application Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain software infrastructure, and adapt CAD systems to project needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing technical support to software users.
- Support CAD software infrastructure.
- Develop and implement working methodologies.
- Train users.
- Analyze failures and resolve complex problems.
- Collaborate with IT teams and the software vendor.
- Customize the system for project-specific needs.
- Write technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience working with CAD software.
- In-depth understanding of CAD.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- High capacity for self-directed learning.
Nice to have
- Experience in technical support or user training.
