Experienced Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing mechanical and thermal solutions for radar systems, leading product development from concept to mass production, and supporting existing products. Requires at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in CAD and simulation, and knowledge of manufacturing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and thermal management solutions for existing products and next-generation systems.
- Design mechanical structures to withstand static and dynamic loads in accordance with military standards.
- Lead product development from concept and requirements definition through mass production.
- Provide ongoing engineering support for existing products, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Perform mechanical design using CAD and simulation tools, and conduct laboratory testing.
- Design and build test fixtures and proof-of-concept (PoC) setups.
- Work on a diverse range of engineering projects and technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and electronic packaging/enclosure design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, and enclosure design.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including Systems Engineering and Electronics.
- Hands-on experience with the assembly and testing of mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Good command of English.
Nice to have
- Experience working with PLM and PDM systems.
- Experience performing thermal and dynamic analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
