Develop next-generation equipment from concept through mass production in a collaborative engineering environment. The role covers mechanical design, analysis, testing, validation, and manufacturing readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical products from concept through mass production
- Perform mechanical packaging and equipment design
- Apply GD&T, drawings, and assembly tolerances
- Design for manufacturing across molding, casting, machining, stamping, and forming processes
- Perform thermal, dynamic, and static analysis
- Conduct analysis, testing, design iterations, and design validation
- Lead full life-cycle engineering projects
- Manage PLM data, engineering changes, and BOM structures
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics packaging design
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and assembly tolerances
- Experience with design for manufacturing, including plastic injection molding, metal casting, machining, stamping, and forming
- Experience with electronic board design
- Experience leading full life-cycle projects
- Experience with PLM systems, engineering changes, and BOM structuring
- Experience designing indoor and outdoor equipment
- Experience with thermal, dynamic, and static design and analysis
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Professional written and spoken English

- MSc in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience designing telecommunications or RF equipment
- Experience mentoring engineers
