Manufacturing Engineer
A leading defense and space manufacturing company seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introduction, production line processes, and compliance with IPC/J-STD/ECSS standards for electronic assemblies. Requires 5+ years of experience and an engineering degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) processes
- Support production lines in circuit assembly and military/space standards compliance
- Define materials and processes for adhesives and coatings
- Evaluate electronic components for assembly suitability
- Collaborate with engineering on electronic manufacturing development
- Manage subcontractors locally and internationally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing processes
- Experience with IPC-610 / J-STD-001 (Class 3) and ECSS space standards
- Knowledge of SMT, soldering, coatings, adhesives, and electromechanical assemblies
- Proven failure analysis experience
- Deep knowledge of advanced PCB soldering technology
