Lead the development of electronic systems from requirements definition and design through testing, production transfer, and operational service. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners while meeting technical, cost, weight, power, quality, and schedule targets.
Responsibilities
- Own the electronic systems development lifecycle, including requirements, design, simulations, testing, production transfer, and operational service
- Lead failure investigations and environmental, EMC/EMI, vibration, thermal shock, and reliability testing
- Coordinate with systems, mechanical, software, FPGA, integration, production, procurement, and quality teams
- Manage performance, cost, weight, power, and schedule targets
- Provide technical leadership to hardware engineers and collaborate with systems teams and customers
- Lead design reviews, risk management, and engineering decisions
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and technology partners locally and internationally
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering
- Proven hardware development experience from requirements through serial production
- At least 3 years of matrix management of development teams
- Strong technical capability
- High-level Hebrew and English
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering
- Experience writing specifications and test documentation
- Experience in the defense or space industries
- Experience designing electronic architectures with a systems-level perspective
