Junior Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer
An entry-level aerospace engineering role focused on developing guidance, navigation, and control systems for aircraft, including simulations, dynamic models, real-time algorithms, and related development infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft guidance, navigation, and control simulations and algorithms.
- Lead development of GNC packages and interfaces with aeromechanical and software systems.
- Develop dynamic models.
- Implement algorithms with emphasis on real-time considerations.
- Develop infrastructure for GNC system development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.
- Relevant master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
Nice to have
- Relevant PhD or peer-reviewed publications in guidance, navigation, and control.
- Experience with six-degree-of-freedom and three-degree-of-freedom performance simulations.
- Experience with numerical computing in research and development environments.
- MATLAB and Simulink proficiency.
