Hardware Engineer – Test Equipment
Develop, upgrade, integrate, and support hardware test equipment for aerospace products, working with subcontractors, customers, software teams, and internal engineering groups.
Responsibilities
- Technically manage the duplication and development of test equipment with subcontractors and affiliated companies.
- Adapt test equipment and upgrade hardware as required.
- Provide responses to technical review documents.
- Find engineering solutions for upgrades and address obsolete or problematic components and assemblies.
- Perform reverse engineering when documentation is missing or incomplete.
- Provide supporting engineering information and integrate equipment with relevant organizational units.
- Support software personnel and install test equipment at company sites and international customer locations.
- Troubleshoot equipment, implement upgrades, and maintain operational continuity.
- Support internal and external customers.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, program, customer, product engineering, and software engineering teams.
Requirements
- Electronics or electrical engineering degree or practical engineering diploma.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and service-oriented communication skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience developing test equipment.
- Willingness to take short international business trips.
