Lead 5–6 full-stack developers building and improving AI-enhanced core applications for a financial operations SaaS platform. The role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, architecture, and collaboration with Product teams. Work is hybrid, with three office days per week in Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5–6 full-stack developers building core applications
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and engineering best practices
- Make hands-on architectural decisions across Java, AWS, React, and Angular components
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and uphold code review standards
- Work with Product teams to prioritize features, estimate work, and track delivery
- Identify engineering pain points and improve the codebase and development processes
- Coordinate daily team alignment, remove blockers, and promote effective development practices
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities and AI-assisted tools into development workflows
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing applications with Java and AWS services
- At least 5 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, including React or Angular
- At least 3 years of experience leading full-stack engineering teams
- Experience delivering large-scale, production-grade cloud systems
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean coding, and code reviews
- Experience designing database models and developing with cloud-based NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment
- Proactive, adaptable, self-motivated approach to rapid iteration

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience integrating AI into engineering workflows
