Join a cross-functional analytics team to build web application features and automation tests. This full-time role is a six-month maternity leave replacement.
Responsibilities
- Develop client-side features for a web application using React and TypeScript
- Build and maintain the web automation test suite
- Use AI-assisted tools in coding, debugging, testing, documentation, research, and problem-solving
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through AI and automation
- Collaborate with colleagues and discuss user experience and interface design with Product and UX teams
- Learn and apply the product domain, architecture, and development environment
Requirements
- At least one year of frontend development experience, including proficiency with React
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools, such as coding assistants, LLM-based tools, or agentic tools
- Ability to identify useful applications of AI in engineering while applying sound judgment and ownership
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate unfamiliar technical areas independently
- Ability to learn the product, business domain, architecture, and technologies quickly
- Proactive approach to automating repetitive work and improving development processes
Nice to have
- Java or other backend experience, including microservices and databases
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, or cloud platforms
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and maintainable test automation
