Develop embedded Linux software for satellite communication modem systems and contribute across the software development lifecycle, from design through product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop Linux device drivers, user-space applications, and firmware for embedded systems.
- Participate in software design and development throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software architects, VLSI engineers, board designers, and validation engineers.
- Optimize throughput, latency, and CPU utilization through profiling and performance analysis.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for embedded software.
- Support high-performance satellite communication modem and system development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of embedded development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing embedded Linux kernels and device drivers.
- Experience with networking technologies, including NICs, switching, Ethernet/802.1Q, IP, packet processing, and data-plane stacks.
- Experience with software/hardware integration, including DMA, interrupts, and telemetry.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with embedded Linux low-level development, board support packages, and board bring-up.
- Strong self-learning and adaptability in new technical fields.
