Join an early-stage AI platform company and build the infrastructure that enables autonomous agents to automate complex enterprise workflows in production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own infrastructure for an AI agent platform
- Build backend systems for high-throughput document processing and data extraction
- Architect scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure
- Manage Docker and Kubernetes production workloads
- Build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Design data pipelines for large-scale document and unstructured-data processing
- Connect AI agents to databases, vector stores, ERP systems, CRM systems, and other enterprise software
- Build documented APIs and reliable distributed-system integrations
- Implement authentication, authorization, privacy, and secure data-handling practices
- Develop monitoring and observability systems for infrastructure health, performance, and cost
- Optimize systems for speed, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with AI/ML, product, and founding teams on architecture and infrastructure strategy
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience building and scaling production infrastructure
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL or vector databases
- Deep experience deploying and scaling production applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and distributed-systems security practices
Nice to have
- Experience with robotic process automation tools
- Familiarity with Neo4j or other graph databases
- Experience with Go or Rust
- Experience working with AI/ML teams and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
