DevOps Infrastructure Engineer
Responsible for deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in connected and air-gapped environments, hardening Linux servers, and building Infrastructure as Code automation. Collaborate with R&D, Security, and IT teams in a defense-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in connected and air-gapped environments.
- Administer and harden Linux servers according to organizational security requirements.
- Write automation scripts and contribute to Infrastructure as Code for provisioning.
- Collaborate with R&D, Security, and IT teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure.
- Learn and grow into cluster security, observability, and platform engineering.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years in DevOps/Infrastructure/System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workflows.
- Good working knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Proficiency in scripting with Bash and/or Python.
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, and teamwork.
Nice to have
- B.Sc. in CS/IS or related.
- Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Security hardening exposure (CIS benchmarks, SELinux/AppArmor, Pod Security Standards).
- Familiarity with security/vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Trivy, etc.).
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Network security knowledge (segmentation, certificates, TLS).
- Exposure to air-gapped/classified environments.
