Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Manage highly available production environments
- Identify and resolve performance issues and operational bottlenecks
- Debug complex production problems and advise on system architecture
- Build and maintain self-service developer experience tools
- Improve system cost efficiency, performance, simplicity, and extensibility
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps experience
- Experience working in Linux environments and writing scripts
- Production experience with public cloud and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or Elasticsearch
Nice to have
- Software development and development frameworks
- MySQL administration
- MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch administration
- Kafka or RabbitMQ
- CI/CD pipelines
- Jenkins or TeamCity
