Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the CI/CD environment.
- Maintain and improve development, staging, and production environments for scalability, availability, resilience, and security.
- Define and manage infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and Packer.
- Implement monitoring and logging for applications running in Kubernetes environments.
- Implement and maintain container registries and package managers such as Artifactory and Harbor.
- Participate in deep-dive troubleshooting and lead technical postmortem discussions to identify root causes of complex issues.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Linux operating systems, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
- Experience with Kubernetes logging stacks such as EFK and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Mimir.
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Experience with CD tools such as Argo CD.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
- Experience provisioning and managing highly available Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with Kubernetes templating tools such as Helm.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementations.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies and concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rancher or K3S.
- Experience with air-gapped Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with microservices ecosystems.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
